Another great article in the May/June edition of Women's Running magazine (in addition to the great training programs).
#Run 4.07 miles this evening (1:02:20, 642 cal). Got a late start this evening, and nightfall was fast approaching.
Well, I had good intentions - started my first planned workout for today (knee rehab exercises), but my brothers called me (back to back), so now I'm behind. Got to run a few errands, but still plan to my workout (or at least some portion of it) before the day is over.
Getting ready to head out to a friend's birthday party. But I thought I would make my 1st post. Just spent the last hour or two preparing a training plan. Used Active.com - the site has a neat free training log. Can enter planned as well as completed workouts. Made training plan for upcoming 2 weeks. An old often heard quote - People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan. When you write down your goals, it makes you accountable (to yourself) + you can measure your progress.
